Home Plate Heroes at the Ballpark 2026

Every day, more than 400 of our neighbors walk through NJCO’s doors — for a meal, for help navigating a crisis, for the kind of steady support that keeps a life from unraveling.

Join us for our annual Home Plate Heroes event at FirstEnergy Stadium —  a critical source of support for everything we do. Your ticket supports the programs that serve as a lifeline for Berks County’s most vulnerable residents: hot meals, food assistance, benefits navigation, and the human connection that makes all the difference.

This year, we’re proud to honor two people and organizations whose commitment to this community runs deep:

Tona Hatt Community Partner Award — Amazon TEN1, who brings new volunteers through our doors each month — growing the circle of people who understand who we serve and why this work matters.

Tona Hatt Individual Honoree — Donna Gray-King, a longtime volunteer who has become an essential part of the NJCO family — someone whose presence, consistency, and heart embody the values of New Journey.

Enjoy an evening at the ballpark — great food, a game, fireworks, raffles, and the company of people who believe in lifting up our neighbors,  whenever they might need it,  all for just $55.
